Tizen a new operating system in opposition of iOS and Android

Internationally renowned companies jointly prepare a new operating system against leading computer maker Apple's iOS and Google's Android operating system. The system will be launched in the next few months.

Japanese mobile phone operator NTT Docomo was told by Wednesday that tizen an open-source operating system is designed, based on Linux. NTT DoCoMo spokesman Jun Otori, told the AFP news agency that the new operating system is expected to be sold by the end of March this year, will be installed in the upcoming mobile phones

90 % of the smartphones in the world use Android or Apple iOS as the operating system

In fact Tizen, is the result of the combined efforts of companies of Japan, China, South Korea, Europe and the U.S.A. Tizen Association Consortium Creator U.S. company Intel, the Japanese company Fujitsu, South Korean companies Samsung and LG, the Chinese company Huawei and European mobile Carriers include Vodafone and Orange.

 Jun Otori said Tizen gives us the freedom that we can custom it, because it's open source operating system.

Open-source operating systems are not actually owned by a particular company or organization. Such systems are available openly and any one can change code and can customize it.

Tizen - a new smartphone platforms, is one of the few platforms who are expected to be introduced in the market this year and can become a threat so far the most successful Android and iOS operating systems.
